First Bill O'Reilly, now Glenn Beck back Gay Rights (video)

Glenn BeckImage via WikipediaSomebody check the weather report for Hell, because it must be getting pretty icy down there. Two of the right's loudest mouthpieces are now stating for the record that they have no problem with the gays wanting equal rights. About three weeks ago, commenting on Dan Choi's discharge, Bill O'Reilly's giant forehead told Jay Leno that he is in favor of repealing DADT. Now Right-Wing, Nut-Job/Cry Baby, Glenn Beck tells Bill O'Reilly that does not oppose same-sex marriage (via The Huffington Post):
Why doesn't Glenn Beck cover gay marriage? Because he doesn't believe it's a threat to the nation.
In a conversation with Bill O'Reilly on why he avoids culture war issues, Beck admitted that he doesn't think marriage should be a political issue.
"Honestly, I think we have bigger fish to fry," Beck said. "You can argue about abortion or gay marriage or whatever all you want. The country is burning down...I don't think marriage, that the government actually has anything to do with...that is a religious right."
"Do you believe gay marriage is a threat to the country in any way?" O'Reilly asked.
"A threat to the country? No, I don't," Beck said, laughing, adding mockingly, "Will the gays come and get us?"
Beck quoted Thomas Jefferson: "If it neither breaks my leg nor picks my pocket, what difference is it to me?"

Bill O'Reilly on DADT: "We should stop this nonsense" (video)

Climate change kicked into over-drive this week as Hell froze over on word that Fox "News" blowhard Bill O'Reilly told Jay Leno that he supports the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

The conservatard commentator, who is now officially farther to the left than President Obama on the LGBT rights, appeared on the "Tonight Show" on Monday night. Jay asked him his take on the news of Dan Choi's discharge from the NY Army National Guard.

The Huffington Post reports:
Bill O'Reilly made an appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" Monday night, telling President Obama to stop enforcing the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy regarding gays serving in the military.
"President Obama has the power to stop this 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' business. Just sign an executive order. I don't know why it's taking so long--it's not fair. We should stop this nonsense," said O'Reilly.
Obama had promised during his campaign for presidency that he would work with lawmakers and the military to repeal the ban on gays serving openly in the military. And while the President has urged Congress to repeal DADT, he has yet to publicly address the option of an executive order.
