Joan Rivers in New Yorkers for Marriage Equality Campaign (Video)

Image via WikipediaVeteran comedian Joan Rivers, currently starring in her own reality show, "Joan and Melissa: Joan knows best", is the latest celebrity to appear in a video for HRC's New Yorkers for Marriage Equality campaign. Rivers raised a few eyebrows last year when she said that gay actors should wait until after they've made their money to come out.

The 77-year-old Apprentice winner says in the new PSA, “I'm Joan Rivers and I'm a native New Yorker and I totally support marriage equality.” She then pretends not to know what that means and adds, Only kidding. Do what you want, I got my own problems."

W's Daughter Barbara Supports Marriage Equality (video)

Well, ain't this a kick in the nuts to the old guard GOP. Barbara Bush (the young one, not the one that looked like her own husband's grandmother) has released a video message as part of HRC's New Yorkers for Marriage Equality campaign.

The former first daughter and party animal that kept the secret service on their toes during her father's eight long years in office, joins Meghan McCain as part of the next generation of conservatives that understand that equality under the law for all Americans is a God given right, not a partisan issue.

The younger Bush obviously takes after her mother, who also came out in favor of marriage equality in recent months. Welcome aboard, Babs!
