Does anyone else remember Earth Shoes? They were very big in the early 70's. I had a pair in suede leather during junior high. They had the same funky sole as Sketchers. They weren't promoted for their butt-toning properties, but the hippies who wore them got plenty of exercise running from police dogs and tear gas grenades.
