This week we hear from Canadian band "Men Without Hats", the one hit wonders who gave is "The Safety Dance" in 1982. I like the music well enough, but I always thought the medieval theme of the video was a little creepy and the silly dance is just a little too, well, silly. The dancers form the letter "S" with their arms while jumping around like kindergartners. Were they seriously thinking this would catch on?
Anyway, New Wave was always about pushing the boundaries, so here you go.
