As I reported over the weekend, the nutjobs from Westboro Baptist Church picketed outside the Topeka Kansas venue for insult comic Lisa Lampanelli's show. When The Queen of Mean heard about it, she launched and impromptu counter-protest and pledged to donate $1000 per demonstrator. 48 of the evolutionary throwbacks showed up, so the comic rounded up to $50k.
Lampanelli updated her FaceBook status just moments ago to announce that the donation has been made to Gay Men's Health Crisis, the nation's oldest AIDS charity.
