The Voice's Blake Shelton picks gay contestant, sends out gay-bashing tweet

I haven't seen the new NBC show, "The Voice", created by bisexual pop diva Christina Aquilera, but from what I've read on the interwebs, those who have seen it are saying it's better than American Idol.

'The Voice" skips all the painful tryouts and brings only the most talented singers to the show, where they audition for a panel of music industry judges, including Aguilera, Cee Lo Green ("F You"), country singer Blake Shelton and Adam Levine of Maroon 5.

Tuesday night's show made news when 20-year-old Mormon, Tyler Robinson used part of his time on stage to come out to his father. Shelton picked Robinson to be on his team.

This morning Shelton seemed to be suffering from buyer's remorse when he tweeted, "Re-writing my fav Shania Twain song.. Any man that tries Touching my behind He's gonna be a beaten, bleedin', heaving kind of guy...".

Thank you, Blake for becoming the new face of bigotry and homophobia in Country Music. If anyone had any doubts about the depths of red neck, back woods, inbred thinking within this inexplicably popular music genre, you've just been schooled. It remains to be seen whether NBC will do the right thing and can Shelton's country bumpkin ass.
