I guess you could call this week's strip "That Was Then, This is Now".

How do you like Rorik in living color? As you can see, his infamous plain wool cloak used to be bright red! It’s just that the color has faded, much like Rorik himself.  Internet research indicates that Viking clothes were typically dyed in very bright colors.  Also, Rorik’s not wearing chain mail because he’s in a raiding party here, and on hot days the raiders would leave their chain mail on the ship so as to not be slowed down.

I needed to think of a reason for Rorik to go to a place with a “waxed chest parade.”  I made the sign so big, I had room for three! - Jeremy Rizza
