Watch: Transsexual & Intersex Activist Ashley Love Takes on NAACP Over Lack of Inclusion at LGB(T) Meeting

The NAACP held a much needed LGBT town hall meeting Monday night in Los Angeles with an all star panel that included CNN's recently out Don Lemon, comic Wanda Sykes and former NAACP Director, Julian Bond, who spoke stirringly at the National Equality March on Washington in 2009.

Transsexual and Intersex activist Ashley Love, of Transforming Media, was allowed to address the group towards the end of the program. She promptly called out the nation's oldest and largest organization for African American rights on their lack of inclusion of any transsexual/transgender people on the panel. She also corrected Lemon on his comments, when he said that transsexual and transgender people were the same as gays and lesbians.
