New Wave Wednesday: "Weird Science", by Oingo Boingo (music video)

In the 1985 John Hughes film, "Weird Science", geeks Gary (Anthony Michael Hall) and Wyatt (Ilan Mitchell-Smith) put their nerd skills to the test and create the perfect woman (Kelly LeBrock), with disastrous results.

The title song by is by American New Wave band, Oingo Boingo, led by Danny Elfman who has gone on the compose and perform scores for major motion pictures and, most notably, the "Simpsons" theme song.
