Bloated right-wing nut-job and radio talk show host Michael Savage joins the list of hate-mongers who are banned by the British government from setting foot inside the UK.
In making the list, Savage joins the ranks of luminaries, Fred Phelps and his daughter, Shirley Phelps-Roper of the Westboro Baptist Church, who were denied entry to the UK earlier this year. Unlike here in the U.S., hate speech is not protected by the British constitution.
British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith told BBC Breakfast, "This is someone who has fallen into the category of fomenting hatred, of such extreme views and expressing them in such a way that it is actually likely to cause inter-community tension or even violence if that person were allowed into the country".
