Lt. Dan Choi, a continuing ulcer for the Obama administration, will have time to become a professional activist. He's been officially kicked out of the military for telling the world he's A Gay.
Choi's National Guard unit notified him by mail and phone call that as of June 29 he was no longer an American soldier, capping a lengthy and very public battle with the Pentagon over its discriminatory policy. In the end, Choi engaged in a hunger strike, civil disobedience at the White House, and the administration's most upsetting role: public advocate.
