Now Al and Tipper Gore's Split Makes Sense

Last month former Vice President and Defender of the Planet, Al Gore and his wife tipper announced that they were calling it quits after 40 years together. The announcement left political observers scratching their heads as the Gares always seemed to be the perfect couple. When I first heard the story, I couldn't wait for the other shoe to drop. There's always another shoe in a story like this and leave it to the National Enquirer, the tabloid that brought you John Edwards' baby-momma, to make sure it hits the floor with a thud heard 'round the world.

The National Enquirer reported last week that Vice President Ozone has been accused of sexually assaulting a masseuse back in 2006. Portand, OR police have reopened the case in light of the publicity:
In a bombshell new police report vindicating The ENQUIRER's world exclusive of the AL GORE SEX SCANDAL, the alleged victim told Portland police intimate in-depth details of her claimed sexual encounter with the ex-Vice President.

In a comprehensive 73 page investigative report conducted by Portland Police Bureau in 2009 into an unnamed massage therapist's allegations that Gore made inappropriate and unwanted sexual contact at a hotel in October, 2006.

In a witness statement, the 54-year-old alleged victim - whose name is being withheld by The ENQUIRER - told detectives the Oscar-winning Nobel laureate  attempted a "big tongue kiss," "caressed" her "back and buttocks and breasts" and "shoved" her hand down to his pubic region.

Gore, who recently split from wife Tipper after 40 years of marriage, also fed the woman chocolate and attempted to coerce her to come into his bedroom to listen to a song by Pink, the document said.
Along with the allegations of inappropriate behavior with a woman who gets paid to touch the naked bodies of strange men, are reports that the mainstream media deliberately ignored the story for years. Now, as if to wash their sins clean, the MSM has latched onto the story like a hungry pit bull.

Politico is reporting that the Portland Tribune is taking a lot of heat for killing the story after spending much of 2007 and 2008 investigating the allegations.

Rumors have circulated for years of Gore's infidelities and the announcement of the Gores' split has opened the flood gates. Al Gore has always said that Bill Clinton was his mentor. It looks like Al paid close attention and is now facing his own inconvenient truth. Gotta love those breeders.
