Neil Patrick Harris: Broadway is "Not Just For Gays Any More" (Musical Video)

Former logoImage via WikipediaThe gayest Tony Awards show ever took place in New York last night, with Best Play, Best Actress (Ellen Barkin) and Best Actor (John Benjamin Hickey) awards going to The Normal Heart, a story about the early days of the AIDS epidemic written by ACT/UP founder and playwrite, Larry Kramer.

The musical "Book of Mormon" picked up a slew of awards for South Park creators Trey Parker, Matt Stone and company.

The evening was filled with outstanding musical performances from Sister Act, Anything Goes, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (starring John Larroquette and Daniel Radcliffe) and Priscilla Queen of the Desert, featuring Paul Shaffer and Martha Wash leading the cast in an all-out, show-stopping performance of It's Raining Men.

But the best performance of the evening was, without question, the opening number by Neil Patrick Harris, who explained that Broadway is Not Just for Gays Any More.
