Video: Rachel Maddow Interviews Cleve Jones about Escalating Hate Speech From The Right

This week Speaker Nancy Pelosi called on GOP leaders to urge their party, the Teabaggers and other disgruntled wingnuts to tone down their hateful anti-Obama rhetoric out of concern that this kind of talk can lead to violence. Protesters have shown up at Teabag rallies with guns, leading many to worry about how far these extremists are willing to go to make a point.

The Speaker of the House, a California native, invoked the memory of slain civil rights leader Harvey Milk and San Francisco mayor George Moscone.

Rachel Maddow asked Milk's close friend Cleve Jones, creator of the Names Project/AIDS Memorial Quilt and founder of next month's National Equality March how he felt about Pelosi using Milk's assassination to make her point.
