Image via WikipediaMeghan McCain went on the defensive Monday night on the Rachel Maddow Show. After appearing on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday where she said of Delaware's GOP candidate for U.S. senate Christine O'Donnell, "My problem is that, no matter what, Christine O'Donnell is making a mockery of running for public office, She has no real history, no real success in any kind of business." McCain added the among her circle of friends, O'Donnell is "seen as a nut-job".
Hmmm. These words could also describe George W. Bush.
McCain has been on the receiving end of a shit-storm of criticism, with one conservative, wing-nut blogger calling her a "self-indulgent set of mega-breasts." That's right, some idiot conservative had the balls to make a sexist remark about the daughter of Senator John McCain and he had nothing to say about it. Is it too late to nominate him for Father of the Year?
The way too cool daughter of John "Grumpy Old Man" McCain was a guest on the Rachel Maddow Show last night defending her remarks, saying O'Donnell has "little to no qualifications to be in the senate."
