Latest Polls Show Increased Acceptance of Marriage Equality

The Pew Research Center has just released the results of its latest polling on public attitudes towards Marriage Equality. The charts below show increased acceptance across the board for every age group and religion, accept for two.

Predictably, evangelical Christians continue to hold fast to their misinterpretation of of what it means to love thy neighbor. But the biggest surprise is that support among the spoiled yuppie spawn known as Generation X has actually decreased.

What the fuck is up with that? It's not our fault that the real world expects more of you than your parents did and that listing skateboarding as a skill on your resume didn't get you that Fortune 500 job. Get a haircut, shave that stupid gotee, put down the X-Box controller, move out of your mother's basement and get a f'ing life!

  1. Generation X.. the 30-45 year olds, apparently have been assimulated to some extent into straight conservative culture and maybe don't see what all the hoopla is all about. They are for the most part employed(?),materialistic, and have divorced themselves from glbt equality support if in fact they were ever supportive. This contrasts greatly with the Millennials who obviously give a crap about equality, and little about religion, especially recently. The downturn of several age groups in the last year may be a result of anti-gay rhetoric from GOP candidates and party affiliations changing from democrat to republican in light of the economic plight on-going.This may be an indicator that things are not looking well for us, esp. if the millennials don't show up to vote.(They are very passionate about equality, yet need to be responsible and cast their vote..)

The bottom line...PLEASE VOTE NOV 8th...our equality, the gains we have made and the ones we still need, depend profoundly on it!
