Stephen Baldwin is a douchebag...

Stephen Baldwin
D-Bagger Stephen Baldwin
... but you already knew that. Maybe I should say "Stephen Baldwin is an even bigger douchebag than before and feels the need to prove it publicly."

On Thursday the Wall Street Journal posted an interview with the born-again baby bro of the Baldwin Bunch, where he demonstrated just how out of touch with reality he really is. In the interview, the least attractive (in so many ways) member of the acting clan claimed that the gays are persecuting the straights by fighting for equal rights.

In the video, the Alex's clone-gone-horribly-wrong says, “For society, and a majority of our society, to be asked by a very small minority to change its ways — and everybody can interpret that for themselves; that can be constitutional, that can be by law, that can be by faith —  the homosexual community wants to go and start its own churches and get married, they’re free to do that. And I don’t see that being unreasonable to say, why should people who believe this in a big way that’s been around for a long time turn around and alter what they feel is their sensibility just because those folks feel like, ‘We’re not being treated equal.’”

So sorry to inconvenience you with the whole "give me my constitutional rights" thing. Isn't he a little old to be talking like a surfer dude?

You can watch the video here, but be warned, you'll never get that nine minutes and twelve seconds back.

For those of you keeping track, The Rapture is scheduled for May 21, 2011, promptly at 6:00 pm. Mark your calendar. Be sure to carry your video cams and send me the footage of the devout flying up to the pearly gates. Either we'll finally have the place to to ourselves, or we'll be laughing hysterically at all the disappointed end-timers as they check to make sure their watches are still working.
